Demonstration Landscaping

To encourage a greater use of local plants by home gardeners, the Town of Vincent is using local plants in high profile parks and reserves to raise awareness of how attractive and unique these plants are.

Some of the parks within Vincent which use local plants are shown on this page.  Piazza Nanni in Northbridge within the City of Perth is also worth a visit.

When growing local plants, it is important to choose plants that are suitable for your soil type, so if you live outside the Town of Vincent, visit the Grow Local Plants website to determine your soil type and find out what plants are best suited for your garden.
