Since forming, the group has been involved in a wide variety of projects in partnership with the City of Perth, The Swan River Trust and other agencies.

Mounts Bay Catchment

  • The Mounts Bay Drain connects Lake Monger to the Swan River at Mounts Bay, in front of Perth city. We are working with stakeholders to to identify ways of improving water quality in this area. More

Local Biodiversity Strategy for the City of Perth

  • The Claise Brook Catchment Group, with the assistance of the City of Perth staff is undertaking a study of the biodiversity values within the city. More

Robertson Park seasonal wetland

  • A small natural wetland has been recreated in an inner city park on the site of a former wetland. More

Sustainable Landscaping at Piazza Nanni, Northbridge

  • Sustainable Landscaping at Piazza Nanni, Northbridge using West Australian plants to create an attractive urban landscape which is easy to maintain and has low water and fertiliser requirements. More

Grow Local Plants

  • Encouraging people to grow local plants and celebrate our unique floral heritage while reducing the impact on the environment. More

Catchment Friendly Gardening

  •  Recognising gardens which are suited to Perth's soil and climate, provide habitat for native wildlife and are good for the catchment. More

Restoration of Smith's Lake

  • The Claise Brook Catchment Group's first project site. More
